Common questions

How can I check a financial adviser is licensed?

Search their name or number on ASIC's Financial Advisers Register (via Moneysmart). Our lead adviser, Christopher Love, is listed as Authorised Representative 000246036, and our founder, Shay, as 000412776, both with Financial Force Pty Ltd, AFSL 238337.

Is the first meeting advice?

No. The first chat is to see if we're the right fit. There's no obligation, and any personal advice comes after the scope and fees are agreed in writing.

How much does a financial adviser cost in Brisbane?

Initial advice typically starts from about $5,500, depending on your situation and complexity. Ongoing advice is typically 1% a year of the funds we advise on. Every fee is set out in writing in your Statement of Advice before you commit, and we'll quote you upfront. How our fees work.
